Hi, I can´t "promote" a recording session with https protocol, I changed the idiom of the browser to record the session (or transaction) and set the Setup --> Https Settings, and the record is successful, and when I try "promote" the recording session to business transaction, the CEM runs the processing but not generates nothing and the process block the CEM.

 

any suggestions ?

Hi Eduarte,

From your description the Tim has successfully recorded the https transaction after you uploaded the SSL key to the Tim

So this promotion problem sounds more related to a CEM/APM DB performance problem rather than anything related to the transaction being https.

Have you been able to successfully promote other transactions recently?

I would suggest the best plan is to open a new case with Support so we can help to diagnose root cause as it may require some in depth research.

Hi Eduarte:

Following up on what Lynn said, there should be a log entry when promotion starts and succeeds/fails and EM log. Promoting around the top of the hour when the hourly aggregation takes place can also impact a successful promotion. Also a large domainconfig.xml can impact things.

 

A case analysis should reveal which of these factors are in play
