  • 1.  Alert when JVM becomes unresponsive

Is there a way to throw an alert in APM when a JVM becomes unresponsive.

I have been asked if APM will do this, but am not familiar with the issue going on.  My guess is that the JVM is being slammed for memory and is in a constant state of Garbarge Collection.

In this scenario, the APM Java Agent will not be able to report to the EM (because nothing but garbage collection runs).

What I don't know is if I can get APM to alert on the fact that NO DATA has been reported for a certain amount of time (say 60 seconds).

I am marking this as assumed answered you did not request a follow-up over some time. Please open a new question with new information if needing additional assistance
