Compatibility with Plex and IBM i 7.4.

When is Plex test in IBM i 7.4 scheduled to be held?
(When does Plex r7.2.1 certify IBM i 7.4?)

Our customer examines the purchase of IBM i 7.4.

A business impact is big,so we would like you to carry out that test in the earliest period as possible.

Hi Hifumi,

We are aware of IBMi r7.4 release and currently waiting to get this latest release environment from IBMi PDP program, where we get remote access to latest releases.

As of today IBMi r7.4 release is not available within IBMi PDP program, once this is available we will be certifying Plex with IBMi r7.4.

We are keep looking into IBM PDP portal for IBMi r7.4 environment availability but so far this is not available.

HI Thomas, It would be of great interest to enhance IBM i support, going ahead on technical support for "new" RPGIV features yet not added to RPGIV generators. like ILE  procedures, extended data types ( real varying string fields, integer, pointers, objects ), size of fields and structures, free format. If 64 bits support is planned for Plex 8, it would be a good work to add these features (at least to plan dates).

Also, can you respond if something goes wrong with IBM i 7.4 even though the test has not been completed?
