XML's are in non-readable format in IBM MQ's

DevTest 10.4:

I have created a test case and it has 2 steps as follows.
1) Consume request coming from an upstream system over IBM MQ and the message format is XML. I have used "IBM MQ Native Send/Receive" step.
2) Save the message to DB.
Upstream system puts messages in MQ and IBM MQ Native Send/Receive step consumes the messages.

Observations:
1) can consume and see proper XML from upstream system when there are no special characters in XML message
2) When there are some special characters(EMOJI's) then XML message is shown as below when IBM MQ Native Send/Receive step is executed.

What would be the issue when there are some special characters are coming in the XML request?
