JDBC Step connection error

Hi Community,

I'm trying to create a step to connect to the database, but when testing the connection I always come across the error below:

Do you know what it can be? I already have the sqljdbc4-4.0 jar in my shared folder.

         Please try the following:

1. In case you have chosen the connection pool option, then uncheck it and try again. 

2. Share the workstation.log file to see the complete exception

1 . Got the same error uncheckink the connection Pool Option

Hi Ramos,

Check the connection String for your step, it should be like :
jdbc:sqlserver://<<servername>>:<<port>>/<<db>>

If the issue still persists please share the format for the connection string as well.

In fact, one thing doesn't have to do with the other.
I changed the connection string to what you recommended and it worked.
