  • 1.  Unable to subscribe message from IBM MQ

    Posted Jan 14, 2020 09:30 AM
Hi, We are facing an issue in respond step unable to acknowledge any message from MQ getting the below error.
    ============================================================================
    | Step: Respond1
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
    | Message: Error accessing queue **************** with override QM ************ and options 8208, Completion Code 2 (MQCC_FAILED), Reason Code 2035 (MQRC_NOT_AUTHORIZED)
Whereas, the queue and the QM getting in the error logs are not local queues these are dynamic queues.

However, it was working fine from past one year it was created all of sudden it is throwing an error and no recent changes has been done.
And the username and password has been verified it is correct.

background of the service functionality: This service publish messages from the local queue configured and acknowledge using "ReportReplyTo" and Document the response using "ReplyTo".

Could someone please help in this.

    Thanks,
    Mohammed Sheeraz

What version of DevTest are you running?

What version of MQ are you running?

Have you reached out to your MQ Admin to make sure no changes?

    Hi Mohammed,

MQ Errro 2035  is related to authorization. Please check if the username & password you configured is having necessary privileges to subscribe. Also, sometimes the Password expires and need to be updated.

The user credentials may be also associated with specific queues & alias as well.

    Kind Regards,
    Vaibhav J
