We've just installed v.8.0.1 and are having problems launching the workstation from both the DevTest server (via command line ./Workstation) or the Windows equivalent.We are using an external Oracle 11g database rather than the internal Derby database (we have successfully added several users since the v.8.0.1 installation and the new entries are being reflected in said external database).
When launching the Workstation we're encountering the following 'Permission Denied' message:
'User does not have permission to use DevTest Workstation with this Registry. Please contact your DevTest administrator [user = admin]'.
We've also noticed several entries in the registry.log (not sure it's related)

N.B. we were able to successfully launch the workstation from the command line under v8.0 as admin or other users set up with the appropriate privileges.
Any ideas of what is causing this?
