  • 1.  Does CA Fast Data Masker works with 19.11 version of Oracle ?

    Hello,

    My Organization is upgrading to 19.11 version of Oracle and we have few Oracle connections with CA Fast Data Masker Tool . So, I would like to confirm if this impacts the Fast Data Masker operations or is Fast Data Masker tool compatible with 19.11 version of Oracle ? Appreciate your help in this regard. Currently CA Fast Data Masker tool which we have is 4.7 version.

    Hi @Vikram Allala

    Per our Supported Data Sources documentation, Oracle 19c is supported.   You'll want to upgrade your Fast Data Masker to the latest version (4.9.1xx) to ensure you have the features required.

    Click the hyperlink for "latest version" in my response above.   Scroll down to the latest FDM 4.9.1xx patch release.   Download the zip file.   Unzip the file.   Click on the executable to start the install/upgrade process.
