Reserve test data - What happens in DB?

What happens when a tester reserves a particular data? Does it internally impose restrictions for all other users at the database level? Appreciate if you could share any documentation on how the reservations works at the DB level.

Hi,

 

   When using the find and reserve feature in TDM portal when a record is reserved this reservation is stored within TDM so any other testers requesting data will not see reserved records unless the option to show reserved records is set on the data model. The reservation is not enforced on the database.
