Currently am converting EML and SMTP messages into csv format and importing them into CA TDM for data generation. Once rules setup complete, data published in txt format. In terms of contents of file, we are able to achieve what's expected. But, while checking on file level attributes (meta data), content type is mentioned as text/x-email. whereas we require it as text/plain for successful processing by application. Had a webex with CA support and was told, changing meta data during/after publish or while registration is currently not supported by the tool.
The file encoding option, which currently exists for XML/XSD during object registration; if at all can be extended to csv, we would be able to manage this requirment. I would also like to hear from others by ways of handling this.
