Behavior, Initially loading started slowly and then it took few minutes.

Finally, after few minutes it got hanged and crashed completely.  We need immediate fix and resolution on how to overcome these try of performance & load issues.

    Find the below detailed information.

For generating 10000 records through Synthetic data generation, it takes 3 hours which itself an performance issue.

    Hi Jagadeesh,

For issues that you need immediate help on, we suggest opening a support case. You can do this by going to https://support.ca.com/irj/portal/newhome or calling one of these numbers: Contact CA Support - CA Technologies

This performance issue may be caused by a known memory limitation in Datamaker. When a large number of records is being read into memory, 32-Bit DataMaker crashes when its memory usage exceeds the known limit of around 1.3 GB.

Known Issues - CA Test Data Manager - 4.1 - CA Technologies Documentation

This may also be a limitation with how many records you have. Datamaker 3.5 and prior releases cannot manage data import with tables that have over 25,000 records (approximately). The number of records Datamaker can manage depends on factors such as the size of the record, number of columns, use of data types, and so on. Therefore, you might be able to import more or less depending on these factors. Although Datamaker cannot typically handle a scale of 25-30 thousand records because it is a 32-bit application, the CA TDM Portal can. The CA TDM Portal can handle a much larger data volume and is the recommended solution for such scenarios. To import the data that has tables with over 25,000 records, we recommend upgrading to Datamaker 3.8 (or later) or using the CA TDM Portal.

Are you able to try using the TDM Portal for your scenarios?

If you are still having issues, please open a support case.

    Best regards,
    Taylor
