  • 1.  FastDataMasker Where clause syntax

    Posted Feb 28, 2018 12:05 PM

    Hi there,

Could you please help me with this?
I have been trying to mask a few rows using Fast data masker using the where clause. The issue is that when I run the masking, it errors out with "Error returned from Database:ORA-00933: SQL command not properly ended SQL"

These are the syntax I have tried but it still fails:
    where clause: CUSTOMERNUMBER IN (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) is invalid

    where clause:   CUSTOMERNUMBER IN (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) is invalid
where clause: CUSTOMERNUMBER = 1 is invalid

I am not sure if keyword 'IN' is supported or not, but '=' did not work either.

Am I following the incorrect syntax or am I missing anything here?

    Thanks,

    Divya N.

    Hi Divya,

Can you attach the generated files - options and csv?  What version are you working on?  The reason is that we have a fix for  the following error:

Support for IN and NOT IN operators for WHERE , AND, OR clauses in FDM flat file masking

    FastDataMasker-4.7.28.0.zip

If your version is less than the one stated, please let us know here and open a support case to get the latest version.

    Cheers!
    Les

    Thank you, Les.

I could not find the link for the attachments, I have posted the contents of my csv and options file below. (Tried this with '=' too)

And I have been using version 4.6.400.15.

    Thanks for your help.
