: Is there is a way to close all open windows in DataMaker easily without exiting product?

Each window in Datamaker will have an X in the top, right-hand corner. You can close the windows individually that way. Closing all the windows will not cause the program to close. After closing all the windows, you will just see the toolbar on a dark grey background, that is the home page basically. To close the program completely, click on the X at the top, right-hand corner of the screen above the version number.

If you want an easy way to switch back and forth between windows, without closing any of them:

    1. Click on 'Window' tab in the toolbar in between 'Settings' and 'Help'.
    2. After clicking on 'Window', you will get a drop down with all your open windows listed.
    3. From here, you can just click on the page you want to be on and it will pop up to the front.

You can also chose the way you want to view your windows:

    • Tile Vertical (windows in columns next to each other)
    • Tile Horizontal (windows in rows stacked on top of each other)
    • Layer (default-1 window at a time)
    • Cascade (like a hand of cards- see corner of each with one on top in full view)

Does that help, or was that not the answer you were looking for?

They are looking for a way to "one click" to close all the windows,  instead of selecting each window and closing.

There is currently not a way to close all the windows at once. I would suggest posting this an Idea on this community page, as I am sure other users will want this feature as well.

They could just add another option under the 'Window' drop down list saying 'Close all tabs'.

    Hi QVC,

Does Taylor's answer of (simplified) " No there is not a way, but please add an Idea to 'Close All tabs'" answer your question?  If so, can you mark this as answered please?

    Cheers!
