    Hi everyone,

     

    I installed the version 13 upgrade harvest but the database to the previous version had not achieved connect.
    Reviewing the database are the following errors:

     

    when you run the command

    CheckForCustomFormsSqlServer.bat

    C:\Windows>echo off
    Please enter the broker name: WIN-C0O7ILH5IJA
    Please enter the Harvest login userid or dfo file name: harvest
    Please enter the Harvest login password: harvest

    Form Type 18:
    Form type data table name: harusdpackageinfo
    Number of forms with this type: 0
    Form type title: USD Package Information

    Form type 18 is a default form type and has no data; it is safe to upgrade...

    Form Type 19:
    Form type data table name: harusdplatforminfo
    Number of forms with this type: 0
    Form type title: USD Platform Information

    Form type 19 is a default form type and has no data; it is safe to upgrade...

    This database is safe to upgrade to Harvest SCM V13.

    Hi Susan,

     

    Harvest V13 release can't connect to lower version of Database , so your database needs to be upgraded to V13 level  using hdbsetup utility. It seems in this case you Harvest Broker is V13 but your database is lower level hence it throws this error. This is expected not an error.  Please open a support case if you need further help on this.

     

    Output of "CheckForCustomFormsSqlServer.bat" program shows your database is healthy to be upgraded to V13 version.  

     

    Please reachout CA support if you need more information or help on this.

    Hello Susan,

     

    The script was intended to be run with your previous version of the SCM Server software before upgrading the software or the database.  If you no longer have the previous version of the SCM Server software installed, let me know and I can provide equivalent SQL statements you can run from SQL Server Management Studio to check for this problem.  Please do this before running hdbsetup to upgrade your database.

    I would recommend that you open a support case with Harvest Level 1 support

    and they can help you with this problem. If you are unable to get contents from

    HARAGINFO table then it appears you may have some database corruption that

    needs to be looked at.
