We would request to please add the below request as enhancement to Release Automation product.
Requirement: We want permission giving the same to the user, he should be able to login to Release Automation and download the logs, either by agent or for whole deployment. The user should not be able to execute/modify process/releases.
Validation: With current permission mapping by which logs can be downloaded are either map to Execute Process in All Environments/Environment and Execute Release in all environments/environment.
- Execute Processes In All Environments: Only than enables download of the logs by clicking on deployment down chevron and selecting download logs by agent. But the issue with this permission is that the user can now execute any process. However, it can't run any deployment as doesn't have permission. It will get permission error when try to download for all deployments.
- Execute Releases In All Environments: Only than enables download of the logs by clicking on deployment down chevron and selecting download logs for all deployments. But the issue with this permission is that the user can now execute any release.
