How to identify and export action packs

Hi,

Is there a way to identify and export the actions/action packs that are being used currently in our CA-RA set up?

Hello Amit,
 As there are multiple questions please find answer to them.

1: The actions (alone) can't be exported, it is always action-pack to be imported/exported.
2: How to know the actions used in CA-RA setup, the only way is to go to ROC->Administration->Action Management -> Installed Packs are all of the actions which are in your current CA-RA setup.

However, the actual use-case is ideally importing/exporting application from one CA-RA setup to another CA-RA setup, in that particular scenario you can navigate to

ROC->Designer->Import/Export

Select an application and export. When export completes it gives you two hyper links, one to download file and another one is the export requires Action Packs list.

Thanks for your reply. Is there a way, I could export action packs from nolio's built-in repository ie nexus?

Hi Amit,
 No I am not aware of exporting action pack from nolio-nexus repository and that is not a valid ask also.

Whatever action pack you import in CA-RA will be automatically sync with Nolio-Nexus repository. You can download the action pack either via ROC or manually from ftp://ftp.ca.com/pub/dpm/ReleaseAutomationActions/ActionPacks/
