We are in CA Release automation 6.3,  need to  make a decision whether to move to RA 6.5 or go to Atomic.

    1. What is the long term approach from CA/Broadcom on Release Automation versus Atomic

    2. We were told to re-write some of the releases developed in 6.3 if we need to migrate to 6.5.  Is that true?

    3. Do we need re-write all our current releases if we migrate it to Atomic.

    Thanks

    Hello Sekar,

I'll work on getting you answers for 1 and 3. As for number 2 there might be some actions that were "fixed". Nothing specific comes to mind. But I do recall a minimum number of issues where upgrading introduced changes/updates that altered the experience you might have been used to. But those types of changes are changes that were usually introduced via patches that got included in later releases (either out of box or cumulative patches).

It would be my recommendation to do an upgrade of the product in a qa/test environment where you can test, not only the upgrade, workflows and deployments. This will be the best way minimize any surprises/problems.

    Kind regards,
    Gregg
