  • 1.  problem with /root/.ssh/authorized_keys on 8.2.1c

    Posted Nov 01, 2019 10:04 AM
    Hello,

After I upgrade the switch to 8.2.1c I can't ssh root@brcd_switch based on the ssh key.
I used the same configuration as the previews Fos, v7.4.1

Does it changed anything on the new FOS?
    what should I do?

    thank you

    Hi Gabriel,
I am not fully sure about FOS, but in general what I can suggest post some analysis is below.

1: Did you check the presence of SSH authorized keys and do these files have restricted/elevated permissions.
2: Did you try re importing.

In my search I came across a scenario where the files permission even though present are not sufficient.

    Hi Saurabh,
    I did a crosscheck with a 7.4.1c SAN switches:
    - same ssh key
    - same permissions on .ssh folder
    - same permission on ssh key.

    any other suggestions?

    Hi Gabriel,
I came across one article on web which describe similar issue, just sharing the thread may be it help. Did you try to check with FOS if it is something specific to them.
