    I have a flow that always generates a dialog when I select it stating:

    "Can not open item for edit - The graph you are attempting to edit is being edited by another user - (<username>@<whatever>.com)"

    That user has not logged into the Management server is weeks and is no longer available to try to log in. Their "lock" on the flow remains.

    I've tried using forceUserLogout operation in the JMX without any luck. I've also rebooted the server. I've hunted through the JMX for alternative means of breaking the user's session, but came up empty.

    Does anyone have any other suggestions?

    Mark, why don't you try “forcePurgeIdleEditedProcesses” from the NolioCenter/Info page…….

    From the database you can unlock the flow with the following sql:

    update edited_flows set work_state = 'IDLE' where original_flow = “{{flow_id}}”

    The flow_id can be found in the url

    Thank you Kevin.

    Based on your suggestion I first ran the following sql and found that there were actually 3 flows locked by the same user:

    select * from edited_flows where work_state<>"IDLE";

    I then used your sql to unlock all of them and solved my problem.

    Much appreciated.
