  • 1.  Sudo configuration in RA 5.5.2?

The documentation for sudo impersonation was removed in 5.5.2. Is the feature no longer "officially" supported?

    5.0.2 (contain sudo configuration):

    5.5.2 (sudo configuration removed):

    Hello, yeoch02

It seems you are correct, as this is defined as a deprecated action and was moved to https://wiki.ca.com/display/RA55/Deprecated.

And now, for the RA team:

    - Does this mean, as yeoch02 said, that this action is no longer supported? It seems that it is still supported, but I assume for a limited time, due to its deprecated status.

    - If is is deprecated, which action or actions will replace it, if any?

    Best regards,

    Hi,

I don't believe we have made any changes in this area between 5.0.2 and 5.5.2 so this may be an issue with the documentation, i am checking with engineering and tech writing to confirm and will update this thread when i have an answer.

    Regards

    Keith

    Hi,

Engineering have confirmed that no changes were made with regards to agents and sudo and the issue is with the documentation. The documentation team are investigating and will correct the wiki.

    Regards

    Keith

    Hello.

Thanks for the fast reply, Keith-Puzey-CA. Those are good news.

Meanwhile, the page I referred was taken down. Is the documentation team working on it or there are no deprecated actions on this (5.5) version?

    Best regards,

    Ricardo Bernardino
