  • 1.  Agent on Server Machine

    Hi,

    There's an agent running where my execution server is running. In ASAP Agent Management I can see the agent in server with the hostname, but the ip is incorrect, why is it so? Though my execution server machine has a static ip and ipconfig gives me the right ip, under agent list, the agent hostname is correct but the ip is incorrect, please explain.

     

    Ex: Execution server ip : 172.19.129.121

          Execution server hostname: BSDVMCOEPOC01

    Agent Managemt:

            Agent on server:  BSDVMCOEPOC01(127.0.0.1)

    127.0.0.1 is the standard loopback address.  It points back to the same machine and since this agent is on the same server as the Execution Server, you should not have any issues with that address.
