I am not sure I am able to follow the comment completely. Can you please elaborate what are you referring by "Change log".
To enable to Audit logs, you need to enable in Administration -> System setting -> Audit design to true and restart the Data-management a.k.a NAC service.
Also can you please confirm the version of Release Automation in use.
