Are you checking this on existing instances? I've seen some disturbance in values for existing instances, when I De-activated a value in Lookup(Static).
But, when I created a new instance, it was fetching values as expected from that lookup.

We have a static look up having many values added.
User changes Lookup value of ABC to XYZ ( id: att_lu1).
This Lookup used in a Objects, but in that Object list, it is still showing ABC, but in Lookup values changed to XYZ. it shouldn't automatically display XYZ( current value from lookup)?
Please let me know if that's a defect or anything else needed to fix the display.
