  • 1.  About the Hardware specifications to handle CA PPM

    What hardware is needed( like server, RAM, hosting space) to run/install CA PPM and deliver it to client - I know this would be done by Broadcomm , but wanted to know.

    Specifications aren't easily given because it all depends on usage (which parts of Clarity are used/deployed, how heavily configured they are, and what kind of bandwidth or traffic they have).  Some installations may only go for "light" management of ideas and resources, others may go all-in with massive portfolios, time tracking, financial transactions processing, and custom processes and interfaces.

    So consulting and services companies often have to learn to scale what is needed accordingly on a per-client basis.

    Thank you very much for the info :)

    Could you please let me know what is meant by "CA PPM system administration" , "app service" "bg service"

    So here app service mean the UI( webiste)? and "bg" service mean the backend?

    App service: UI and API calls
    BG service: scheduling of reports, scheduled job and process execution
    System administration: a web UI for server side configuration changes and service management (start/stop/etc.)
