The PMs will have the ability to assign to multiple tasks--there's not a great way to lock down tasks from being assigned. With that said, if you want this tight of a control over the PMs assigning tasks, I recommend that you either 1) only add approved tasks to the project plan or 2) separate these tasks to their own projects so the RM can assign to the team tab once the work item (task) is approved.

Looking for some best practices or ways to help solve for an issue we are having. After a resource is assigned to the Team tab is there a way to prevent assignment to multiple tasks within the same project? We have run into the situation where the resource is added to the team to work on Task A. The PMs are then assigning the resource to Task B but Task B is not the task the RM approved the resource to work on. Any ideas on how to prevent the additional Task assignments without the RM knowing about them? Would Resource Requisitions help in this situation? Thanks for any suggestions!
