  • 1.  Baseline Labor Hours from Storyboard Report - What are they?

    Posted Sep 11, 2020 08:54 AM
I am trying to figure out how the value of the Project Storyboard report's "Baseline" (in the Labor Hours section) is derived. I have been told that it is the number of posted hours at the time of the most recent baseline. However, it is almost always a larger value than the Actuals (in the same section). Therefore, what I have been told must be wrong.

The field is base_total_hours (from the dwh_inv_summary_facts table). What values does this field really contain?

Normally the baseline is ETC + actuals at the time when the baseline is set.
In the beginning it is all ETC.
At completion it is all actuals.
I do not know if it the same on story board.

    Thank you Martti!

After some experimenting in our Development environment, I have found this to be true. The Baseline is indeed ETC + Actuals at the time when the baseline is set.
