Although we have traditionally hosted our Clarity application on-premise on physical servers, there has been a request to investigate the possibility of hosting our future 15-8-1 environment on AWS. From reading the latest release notes it would appear that Broadcom do accept that many CA products work on virtual environments without incident.

We plan to build a Clarty 15-8-1 POC in AWS just to see how it would look and if there are any significant issues to be concerned with.

Does anyone else in the user community have any insight or tips for adopting such an approach. We would be very interested to hear of other user experiences.

    Thank you.

There are customers running on any public cloud, the only ask is to ensure you adhere to product compatibility stack and the product can definitely work in public cloud.

    Thank you Suman.

Traditionally we have used Windows Server 2012/2016 and SQL Server 2016 on-premise.
But now we are exploring the possibility of utilizing AWS services such as PostgreSQL RDS and Redhat servers. Are there any immediate concerns with adopting such an approach? We will just be building a Sandbox Clarity environment to start with to see how it all works. But if down the line we were to fully adopt this method in our Production tier, the fact that we are using a recommended architecture should mean that we are ok in terms of support?

    Appreciate your help.
