  • 1.  Links copied from Risks,action items,changerequests are not working

    ​Hi all,

    We are using CA PPM 15.5.1 version
    Steps
    1. Goto Project -> Risks
    2.Create new Risk
    3.Export to Excel(Data only)
    4.Open the excel

    Actual Result : Hyperlinks on the Risk Name is not working.
    Expected Result: Hyperlinks should work with respect to any custom object.

    Issue is not only seen with Risk. But when I tried to pull the Project List also. same issue happens. I don't see the Links associated with the fields configured.
    I have checked in 15.4.1 version it worked..15.6 it worked. 15.7.
    I think there is some known issue on this. please help me!

    Hi sasi,

    I tested Export to Excel(Data only) in 15.5.1 and hyperlink of Risk worked fine.

    The address is like as below.

    http://<Clarity PPM Server>/niku/nu#action:itl.riskObject&odf_pk=5001000&return_to=homeActionId&task_id=&id=5004084&ui.page.space=mainnav.work

    Please check your hyperlink of Risk on Excel.

    And please check Risk object and check if Link is defined.
    1. Go to ADMINISTRATION->Objects->Risk Properties
    2. select Views Tab->click  [Fields] link of Risk list row.
    3. Check Name field property and Link is defined?

    Yes Link is define under the Risk  but still issue is seen.

    Hi sasi,

    Did you check both object view and personal view?

    What do you mean "Hyperlinks on the Risk Name is not working."?
    It returns any error messages or link is not available?

    When we try to export from excel the Project list view we see the below hyperlinks in the excel
    Expected Result : The blue color ones are the hyperlinks in Excel.when you hover over the mouse to that hyperlinks you get the clarity URL pages to navigate.
    We are not able to see those hyperlinks in the environment.

    Hi sasi,

    Do you mean that blue color cell in your excel sheet does not have hyperlink?
    Could you check the hyperlink address?

    1. Move the mouse cursor over the Hyperlink CELL and click the right mouse button.
    2. Select Hyperlink Edit from the menu.
    3. The hyperlink editing dialog will be displayed. Check if the link address is correct.

    Does the risk name link on Risk list in UI work?
