  • 1.  Allocated hours automatically getting updated on Project team tab for resource

    Can someone please explain the scenario when allocated hours of a resource automatically get updated on team tab. If suppose a resource has 10 allocated hours on project team tab, it get updated to 11 suddenly. What kind of changes on either a resource  (like change in finish date) or task would update allocated hours automatically?

    Hi Sravani, 

    There are few jobs as I mentioned below which can change the allocation and assignment start and finish dates in the TEAM tab. In the TEAM tab, you can also see an option called "Allocate from Estimates". When clicked that action, it updates the team record(s) as per the Assignment in the Tasks.

    Another possiblity,
    If the Allocation Start / Finish dates are null, it uses the investment's Start / Finish Dates and thus could automatically change the total amount of allocations when the dates of the investment are extended.
