PostgreSQL queries

Hi all,

I do not see anything in the latest release notes about this so I thought I would ask here.

1. Is there any limitation in using PostgreSQL in Production given that we have about 8000 current users?
2. Are there any recommended steps or history of others transitioning data from SQL server to PostgreSQL in Clarity?

Appreciate any feedback on this.

Hi Colin

1. Currently there is no user limitation on PostgreSQL. Note that PostgreSQL is only supported for SAAS environments on the current release 15.8.1.

2. There is no recommended steps to transition fro MSSQL to PostgreSQL, we would suggest to engage a partner to perform this migration.

As Nika mentioned we haven't release PostgresSQL support for our on premise customers but that will be there in future. if you want to convert your MS SQL to PostgresSQL when it comes you might do but there its complex. The other way would be to migrate data from your MSSQL to your PostgreSQL using Xog or rest
