I have created some portlet pages under home menu and granted view access to a group.  However the user in that group does not see the specific portlet page in the home menu drop down.  I am an admin and i can see the portlet page in the home menu drop down.

Hi Matthew,

If you go to the portlet page in the Administrator menu.
Administration => Portlet pages

Then, on the specific portlet page, click on "Access to this Page" tab.
Select "Full view" on the down arrow.

That should display all resources having access to that page, and the rights for that page (and how they have been granted) by clicking on the key icon on the left of the resource's last name.
Are you able to find the resource(s) not being able to see the portlet page on that list of resources?
If so, which rights do they have on the portlet page and how has it been granted?

I would expect the resource is listed and with at least the "Page-View" right, granted through the group.
You can do a quick test and add the right directly to the user:
Access to this Page => Resource => Add
(Add your resource and the right, Page-View)

Also, make sure the users are doing a "refresh" on the menu or a re-login.

The group and individual have view access.  Still not able to view.

Hi Mathew,
For testing purpose, can you provide access to the portlet which is configured inside the portlet and check if the user is able to see it

Also, for testing purpose, can you check with an empty porlet page (without tabs)... no content at all.
I did some testings and could see the portlet page in the Home menu, just with the page-view right (added either through resource or group).

If the users are able to see that, then check the access to the content inside, as Jerin suggested.

Just wondering again...
Now that you have got that fixed the group must have some additional rights. Could they be instance view portlet page and to that specific portlet?
