If I create a filter and set one of the date defaults to "today', will it always pull data from the current day?

    Hi Britt,

I do not think it will be saved as "today" and if you use the same filter tomorrow, it will show you tomorrow's date.
That feature is given for the date type attributes to make it easy for the users. Selecting "Today" only sets the current date, but I don't think it works as a $ variable.

As you see in the screenshot, when you select today, it sets the present date. And saving the filter will save this filter attribute with today's date, I believe.
    Hope that answers your question.

The power-filter functionality allows us to save "relative dates" in a saved filter though ; search for dateMacro on the discussion boards for examples.

Thank you. I suspected as much and you just confirmed it for me.
