Custom object with investment extension

I am trying to create a Process using a Custom Object defined with the Object Extension: Investment Extension so that we can see the new object in the MUX.
I have Event Enabled checked when I create the object.
When I go to define my Process, this newly created Custom Object is not in the drop down selection for Add Primary Object  within the Objects tab of the Process definition.


We are running 15.7.1.270.
Is this by design? 
Is this on the roadmap for future integration? 

Is there a different way to update an attribute value within the custom object based upon a user's selection of a different value?
User updates value 1, run process to update value 2...
We have done this within the Idea object (OOTB), but cannot get this defined using a newly created custom object with the investment extension.

Hi Liz,
The roadmap object as well as custom investment objects where made process enabled in 15.8.
Once you upgrade to 15.8 or higher you will have processes available for New UX objects
