I know I am in the weeds here but curious if anyone has ventured into converting an AdHocView.XML into a JasperReport.JRXML? I have a custom domain that my users love to use to create their own reports. But the problem is they want to use these reports via Clarity frontend with parameters that do not pass from AdHoc views through to Clarity Reports and Jobs. The AdHoc Reports created from the AdHoc Views do run however via the Clarity frontend but I have HARD CODED (as a programmer, we hate hard coding, right?) parameters to specific reports. Else, I need to recreate their complex crosstab with graph reports all over again in Jasper. Which I can do but I want a head start maybe using the XML? Is this possible? Venturing were even the brave dare to follow! Wonder if anyone else has ventured here before that would lend a girl a hand?
