  • 1.  Enter-once attribute won't lock

    Hi there,

We have added a custom object  which is a sub-object of project a few weeks ago.(version 15.7.1 classic PPM)
Today we changed the settings of 2 of its attributes to "enter-once" mode on the properties view (since this option is missing on the list view).
So in the properties view it works well. In the grid view however, the lookup based attribute is locked after entering a value, but the string based attribute is not locked for editing after entering a value and saving.

Is there a way to mimic the enter once behavior in the list view? We don't want to disable the editing option from the grid view.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Inbal.
I did a quick testing and to me string attributes set as Enter Once become read-only too when a value has been entered at properties view as well as at list view.
Is this the case for any string type attribute if you set it to Enter Once? Or is just this one?
Could you restore your list view to defaults? See if that helps.
