App Store or App Exchange?

Hi folks

I wonder if there's any appetite at all for the concept of an app store, or app exchange?  These forums are a great way for exchanging knowledge and information, answering questions and the like. But I've noticed similar questions come up time and again such as "how to integrate with Jira/Trello/etc", or "how to auto-generate word documents".

I'm sure people here have built solutions for those questions that they've spent hours/days/weeks/ and sometimes even months perfecting them, and I wonder if there's any appetite at all for publishing these built solutions on an app store and offering them for sale for a reasonable fee?

There is Rego Exchange which has something along those lines.

But you still need to use search to find what you are after.

The Rego Exchange has some absolutely amazing content; I've used it extensively.  But as far as I know, it's one-way: Rego publish, others consume. I was thinking something more along the lines of a public marketplace where we can advertised our own solutions and maybe charge for them.
