    Subject: General Availability Announcement for Clarity PPM 15.6

     

    On behalf of CA Technologies, a Broadcom Company, we appreciate your business and the opportunity to provide you with high-quality, innovative software and services. As part of our ongoing commitment to customer success, we regularly release updated versions of our products. Today, we are pleased to announce that Clarity PPM 15.6 is now available for On Premise and SaaS customers.

     

    New features for Clarity PPM 15.6:

    ·       Expanded Demand Management in the modern UX with the ability to view, edit and add Ideas as well as import, link and sync Ideas into your roadmaps.

    ·       Greater Financial Transparency with the introduction of Budgets into the modern UX, which includes the ability to submit cost plans for budget approval; edit, approve or reject submitted plans; and view budget vs forecast numbers in an attractive spreadsheet style format.

    ·       Continued evolution of our industry-leading roadmapping solution with the ability to associate and/or secure your roadmaps based on OBS hierarchies as well as the ability to sync your custom investment attributes into roadmap items.

    ·       Improvements to our modern UX timesheet, including the ability to search for work by Task or Investment ID.

    ·       Enhanced business intelligence with the introduction of a new out-of-the-box Trending report, inclusion of Custom Investment Types in the data warehouse (DWH), and a new DWH dashboard to more easily monitor the DWH loading jobs, along with other assorted DWH improvements.

    ·       Various items in response to customer demand including the ability to export selected modern UX grid views in CSV format, the introduction of a new Classic UX theme to make that experience similar to the modern UX, and a series of key changes to Open Workbench related to its use with Windows® 10.

    ·       Other changes include resuming the name of the product as simply Clarity PPM rather than CA Project & Portfolio Management (CA PPM/Clarity PPM).

If you are a SaaS customer, you can start the process of upgrading your Clarity PPM SaaS subscription to 15.6 by opening a support ticket requesting a non-production upgrade at https://support.ca.com/.
