CA PPM 15.5 channel external link

We are trying to set into channel link to sharepoint. Click to channel does nothing even error message not appear.

If we try to use in channel link to PPM page it works.

 

Any idea whats wrong?

This is a bug DE43648 and its fixed in pre patch available.

If you click F12 (in Chrome) the developer tools will pop up and you can go to the "console" section. 

That will tell you what the exception is in the browser.  

This is usually some kind of X-frame restriction.

i have the same issue with embedding external applications in Channels in the new UX.
As Joshua wrote, the root cause is that other application do not allow to be embedded in a channel iFrame, e.g.
- Microsoft teams
- JIRA Software
- ...

This is really preventing us from using Clarity as a hub to integrate other collaboration and planning tools.

Some applications allow embedding and generate a special page/url without x-frame restriction headers, e.g.
- https://app.powerbi.com/reportEmbed?reportId=123456789
- ...
