    I am looking to create trend indicators similar to those in the Project Storyboard Report but for use in a portlet. EX:

    Upwards= Variance of the value is better than the previously reported value
    Rightwards= No variance
    Downwards= Variance of the value is worse than the previous reported value

    Has anyone been able to set these up before? If so, could you share how you were able to accomplish it?

    You derive a numeric value in the portlet then map one of the system "icon" values to it as its display type.

    The icon images that you want are 'Up Arrow Neutral', 'Side Arrow Neutral' and 'Down Arrow Neutral' I think.

    Also, beginning version 15.4, CA PPM can trend custom attributes on Investment related objects, and the portlets can fetch data from the Data Warehouse. So, this opens up possibilities of creating far more detailed trend analysis if required.

    Would be interested to see if we can upload our own images to be used on Portlets or Objects.  I think at this time we are still restricted to the 95 OOTB images provided by CA PPM.
