Sub-Report Error in Jaspersoft

I have created a JasperReport and got it to work perfect!..

 

Then, I needed to make a subreport, so I went back to Jaspersoft Studio and created the sub report (which works perfectly when previewing it from Jasper Studio).

 

Then, when I tried to re-upload the main report.jrxml and run the report, I get this error:

 

net.sf.jasperreports.engine.JRException: Resource not found at : PSR_MilestoneReport.jasper

 

I'm guessing somehow i have to reference the sub-report in clarity advanced reporting to the main report, but there are no sub-report options that i can see.. Any solutions to this?

Hi Matthew,

 

Can you try to upload the master report and sub report separately and then edit the master report from Advance Reporting and click on Controls and Resources point your sub report under resources and under resources add the sub report

thank you! That basically did the trick.. I was almost there, just forgot to actually go into the main report and change the reference of the sub-report to the actual path in the repository.
