  • 1.  Synchronize Portfolio Investments job failing

    I am running the Synchronize Portfolio Investments job in an On Demand 14.2 environment and it fails, regardless of the portfolio I run it for.  The error message I receive is:

     

    Failure message: com.niku.dbtools.DBUpdateException: java.sql.SQLException: [CA Clarity][Oracle JDBC Driver][Oracle]ORA-22859: invalid modification of columns

     

    Have any of you seen this?  If so, what was the answer to fixing it?

    This is a problem where the code is trying to convert a CLOB field into a VARCHAR field data type.

    This is being investigated as a case.

    This issue has been resolved in 14.2 patch 1. 

     

    Refer to TEC1807514 If the size of an attribute is changed, the Portfolio Synchronization job fails
