    Does associating a risk or issue to a task have any actual effect on that task (ie: any status change or field changes at the task level because of the risk/issue) All I am finding is that you can create and associate the risk and view it on some pages, no other details really.

    No ootb data effect.

     

    We do a good deal of late task and milestone reporting and prototyped 'Issued Task' and 'Issued Milestone' as a means of the PM communicating "This all is late because of X issue" but never took it to production.

    It's possible to do something with the associations - but you need to make it do the doing.

    Not that I know of.

    One thing to note is these associations will appear on the clarity solution pack reports (CSP), risk register and issue register.
