  • 1.  Hiding OWB/MSP options in "Open in Scheduler" ?

    Posted Sep 22, 2014 05:13 AM

    Hi all!

    We are using the Clarity-Gantt scheduler and not MS Project nor Open Workbench, hence we do not use the interface towards these schedulers. We therefore do not want to see the MSP or OWB options when we "Open in Scheduler" in a project.

    Is it possible to hide these MSP/OWB options under "Open in scheduler"?

    Thanks NJ!

    I can see that the answer given in the discussion you refer to ("If you want to experiment for totally unsupported options you could look at projectPageTabset_PropertiesPortlet.xsl") is for Version 12, we're on 13.1 heading for 13.3.

    Does the same answer apply to Version 13?

    I guess so, yes

    I checked in the V13.2 by copying the link location and it showed below -

    javascript:navigateToURLForm('projectPageTabset_Tasks','sched?','readWrite=true','url=xxxx/niku','driver=HTTP','format=0','projectId=XXXX','file=PRJ00XXXX','repository=NIKU','session=XXXX__XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX','userName=XX','sslLoginURL=/niku','sslHandling=SSL_FULL');

    Just going to bump this as I was poking around....

    File to look in is META-INF\projmgr\vxsl\portlets\projects\projectPageToolbar.xsl and the 'projectSchedulerLaunchActions' logic - change the logic or just comment out the call to it to remove the whole dropdown.

    Refresh the VXSL caches afterwards.

    [ Obviously this is an unsupported/unsupportable customisation ]
