  • 1.  Process System Action: Baseline - What is the new "Code" field for?

We are on version 13.2 and are working on a new automated baselining process.

In building this process, we have a step for a System Action to Baseline the investment.  Unlike previous versions of Clarity, we now see a new field that is also required when setting up this type of step.  It is simply called Code.

You are required to put an entry here...but I'm not sure what it is used for.  So, I'm unsure what to put in here.

    Help!

    Thanks!

Wouldn't that be the code to identify the system action ? (Just guessing )

    Hi Lisa,

    It can be

    1) The Revision ID of the new baseline to be created (when the NEW REVISION option is set to YES)

    2) The Revision ID of the baseline which needs to be updated (when the NEW REVISION is set to NO)

You will get the below error in the 2nd case, if clarity is not able to find the baseline revision id which you have specified in the CODE column. Cannot find given Baseline Revision Code on investment.

    Regards,

    Georgy
