More than one Knowledge store?

Hi all, is it possible to have more than one Knowledge Store (Home--> Organization --> Knowledge Store) inside of Clarity?

So you would have an structure like this:

Home-->

         Organization -->

                     Knowledge Store

                     Knowledge Store 2

                     .....................

                     Knowledge Store N

Hi Patricio,

 

No, it is not possible to have more than one Knowledge Store.  However, you can have multiple folders inside the knowledge store which should provide a way to organize your documents.

 

What are you trying to accomplish that would require multiple Knowledge Stores instead of multiple folders within the Knowledge Store?

  We were thinking of the possibility of controlling access to certain folders for some users by menu instead of everyone going through the same menu and restrict access then...

The access control to each folder you will have to manage folder by folder on Knowledge Store, but depending on your specific needs, you could create some portlet pages with html portlets that provides fast access to the documents of a given folder, or even to specific documents on the Knowledge Store.
