  • 1.  Relevance of KB search results?

    I am searching the KB on Clarity support online for a specific TECDoc with TecDoc number.

    Why do the references to that TexDoc in the body of the other TecDocs rate higher in relevance than that particular TecDoc itself.

    My reasoning is that it should be the most relevant not the least relevant.

    its Jive's 'clever' ranking algorithms at work again ( like in Re: @mention functionality )

    Completely different system.  That would be our new Search system, I'll route this question to that team.

    Tried to search for TEC605767

    Guess what , did not see it quickly in the results so resorted to going through the listed and fixed defects page where it was much faster to find.
