    The CA Server Automation installation creates two databases: dpm and aom2.

    Question by Curious: The Why these database have these names? It's short for something?

    Yes they are short names for following components in SA.

    DPM-Dynamic Provisioning Manager

    AOM-Automation Object Model

    Hello Poyato,

    I see this is UNANSWERED for many months now. In the name of administrivia or cleaning house, would it be possible for you to do any of the following:

    • mark your original post as ANSWERED
    • untag it from doc feedback
    • change it from CA PPM to a more appropriate product
    • remove/delete/archive it
