  • 1.  Connector Server SSL Issue

    Hi Community,

We have two Connector Servers on separate windows servers. They were both working perfectly for a while and now one of them has issues.

Any modifications we try to perform on a user's endpoint account (endpoints that use the non-working CS) fails. When we try to view the endpoints on using the Provisioning Manager, it hangs for a couple of minutes and then complains that it cannot reach the Connector Server.

The server has been restarted but the behaviour remains the same. The logs show the error below:

[ApacheDS Worker-thread-65] (com.ca.jcs.apacheds:org.apache.mina.util.SessionLog:102) WARN - [/:] Unexpected exception forcing session to close: sending disconnect notice to client.
    javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: SSL handshake failed.

Has anyone seen this behaviour before? Do we need to replace some certificates?

    Kind Regards,
    Anwar

It is strange that the problem continues even after restarting the Connector Server services and/or the machine itself.  Was there any recent changes/patches down to the Connector Server machine? Does the other Connector Server work properly against the same endpoint?

Perhaps review the following KB to try and reset the Connector Server and retest?
