Hi Tanu,
You don't need to take care of any components upgrade when upgrading your vApp env from any 14.x version to 14.3.
Everything will done for you by the vApp upgrade tool. Please review the documentation link below (same as the one already provided):
https://techdocs.broadcom.com/content/broadcom/techdocs/us/en/ca-enterprise-software/layer7-identity-and-access-management/identity-suite/14-3/virtual-appliance/upgrading-virtual-appliance.htmlThe "Upgrade Overview" section will tell you what the vApp upgrade tool will do then review the rest of this link to list the pre/post upgrade operations to be done if needed.
Thanks

Subject: CA IDM upgrade 14.1 ->14.3
Any information on about below would be helpful
In our environment, all the components are 14.1 but CA directory is at version 12.6. and we are migrating vApp to 14.3
Do we need follow upgrade of CA directory from 12.6 -->14.1 -->14.3 or 12.6 --> 14.3 . which one would be better.
And documentation from 12.6 --> 14.3 (CA directory) upgrade would also be helpful here.
Thanks in advance!

That is correct, there are no licenses required for product upgrades.

Perhaps there are others in the communities who have experience in doing this and we invite them to comment here also.
Another option may be to reach out to our partner HCL Technologies to see in what way they can assist further. The Enterprise Studio team of HCL can be reached at enterprisestudio@hcl.com. https://www.hcltech.com/enterprise-studio

Thank you for sharing the URL of documentation.
As per my understanding, we do not require or add any product licensing upon upgrade or while upgrading from 14.1 -> 14.3 version of vApp and respective components. Can you also help me if there are other opinions.
Thanks in advance,

We are planning to upgrade our environment containing CA suite from vApp 14.1 to 14.3. Could you please share any upgrade documents or initial planning strategies or experiences that you faced during this upgrade.
Thanks
