  • 1.  Error in AD endpoint while providing Exchange Access

    Hi All,

We have configured AD endpoint with Exchange databases configured as provisioning roles. When I am assigning the Database to the user, I am getting  error:

ETA_E_0083<MAC>, Account for Global User 'test_user' on Active Directory Endpoint 'ActiveDirectory' update failed: Connector Server Modify failed: code 80 (OTHER-LdapNamingException): failed to modify entry:  JNDI: [LDAP: error code 70 - Unable to set Group Membership Attribute: memberOf Reason: CAFT Error : <id=46,rc=1813,lib=\im_ccs.exe>. CAFT Timeout : 1800]: failed to modify  (ldaps://bpapcipwmv01:20411)

Is this CA product issue or user permission issue at AD end.

    Thanks
    Ank

Please review the following documentation link for configuring agent-less mode Exchange (preferred approach) else you will need to install the remote agent.

    Hi Kenneth,

    Thanks for the inputs.

We have restarted the CAFT services at Excahnge server. That helped us in resolving the issue.
